Dr. Lauren White completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. After working in a microbiology lab for a few years, she wanted to have a more direct impact on people’s lives. With research and shadowing, Lauren decided to pursue a degree in optometry. Lauren attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She completed her studies in 3 years, including clinical rotations in neuro-ophthalmic disease at the Pennsylvania Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA, vision-therapy and pediatric care ,primary care and low vision, and ocular disease in the Salem Virginia Veteran Affairs Hospital. Dr. White graduated in 2019 and moved to Reseda, CA. Dr. White works at Eyecon Optometry and enjoys the community and family atmosphere that Eyecon Optometry works hard to cultivate among colleagues and patients. She enjoys seeing patients of various ages and backgrounds and being able to offer a myriad of treatment options to offer personalized care to each patient. Outside of Eyecon Optometry, Dr. White spends some time working in an optometric telehealth setting. She also plays French Horn in the LA Wind Symphony.
